The project is on its earliest stage of development. Thus far, this is a single-developer project. Reaching this juncture, a well-structured team must begin to forge a solid piece of software.

Due to the scope of the project, publishing the game becomes a well-grounded possibility, for the mechanics of the entire game aren’t complex to execute. On the other hand, the art-direction has already been settled, clearing out any confusion that may surge during the process of development. The project isn’t too ambitious, nor is it a copycat of an already existing idea; on the contrary, the mechanics of Runica are quite unique in several ways. A 2026-2027 release is expected, therefore the next milestone contemplates either finding a well-established publisher or securing funds from investors; this, in order for the project to reach its full potential.

  • We decided to use Unreal Engine in order to take advantage of its visual features, for the transitions during any match of Runica are most important to the project. We want the whole experience to feel natural, having in mind how a real gameboard would look like.

  • In order for the project to continue its development schedule, a publishing partner or an investor must join during this milestone. Please, feel free to contact us!

  • Able to recognize the human voice, NPCs are planned to be masters of certain philosophical topics, bringing another layer of depth into the project; all related to the storyline.
